The deadline for submitting a participation request form is Monday, February 27, 2017.

Please note: The roundtable meetings will be held in public and will provide an opportunity for those that have submitted a comment letter to discuss that topic with the Board in further detail.

Comment letter respondents to the Exposure Draft of Chapter 8 or any of the four Topical reviews (defined benefit plans, fair value measurement, income taxes, and inventory) are eligible to participate in the first roundtable session on the Board’s Decision Process. The Exposure Draft for inventory disclosures was released on January 10, 2017; however, the formal comment period will not have closed prior to the registration deadline. If you wish to participate in the roundtable discussion on the Board’s Decision Process and have not submitted a comment letter on either Chapter 8 or any of the other Topical reviews, please plan to submit a comment letter on the inventory Exposure Draft by February 27, 2017.

Those who submitted a comment letter on either the Exposure Draft of Chapter 3 or of Topic 235 are eligible to participate in the second roundtable session on materiality.

To ensure that a variety of perspectives is received, the Board currently is seeking participation from preparers, auditors, investors, and others.
