FASB Webcast - Application of Statement No. 157, Fair Value Measurements

The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) is pleased to announce an upcoming webcast on fair value measurements. The webcast is scheduled for Monday, September 29, 2008. Event Description/Abstract:

Panelists Leslie Seidman, Jim Kroeker, Don Charles, and Tony Sondhi will discuss current issues relating to fair value measurements. Moderated by FASB Technical Director Russ Golden, the panelists will discuss common application and implementation activities on measuring assets and liabilities under Statement 157. Leslie Seidman is a member of the FASB, Jim Kroeker is Deputy Chief Accountant at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Don Charles is the Americas Director for Valuation and Business Modeling Services at Ernst & Young, LLP, and Tony Sondhi is the President of A.C. Sondhi & Associates, LLC.
