JEFF BRICKMAN
SENIOR INVESTOR LIAISON

Jeff Brickman is a Senior Investor Liaison with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). In this role, he helps to facilitate communication between investors and the FASB on accounting issues and standard setting. Mr. Brickman also draws on his experience as an analyst and investor to provide the Board and staff with that perspective on questions that arise in projects at the FASB.

Prior to joining the FASB in 2008, Mr. Brickman spent four years as a Senior Equity Research Analyst for UBS Securities, a leading investment bank. He covered a wide range of companies in the technology sector, including: IT hardware, storage, servers, networking, security, services, imaging and areas within software. Mr. Brickman was responsible for all aspects of analyst coverage including initiating and generating calls, communicating to his sales force/traders, and daily interactions with his client base. 

From 2001 to 2004, he worked at Fulcrum Global Partners within equity research covering wireless telecommunication equipment and services. Mr. Brickman assisted in building and maintaining wireless coverage for the firm, working closely with the in-house trading platform to generate revenue. Prior to working at Fulcrum, he also had experience working in Venture Capital as a Senior Analyst at Tower Hill Capital Group.

Mr. Brickman graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics and a management certificate from the Simon School of Business. He also spent time in London studying at the London School of Economics. Mr. Brickman resides in Larchmont, New York with his family.
