Registration Opens for October 20 FASB Webcast on Accounting for Convertible Instruments and Contracts in an Entity’s Own Equity
Norwalk, CT—September 2, 2020—Registration is now open for an upcoming webcast that will provide an overview of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s (FASB) recently issued Accounting Standards Update (ASU) No. 2020-06, which improves a complex area of accounting. The webcast, titled IN FOCUS: FASB’s New Standard on Accounting for Convertible Instruments and Contracts in an Entity’s Own Equity will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time.
Participants in the live broadcast (which is offered free of charge to those who preregister) will be eligible for up to 1 hour of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. (CPE credit is not available for group viewing of the live broadcast.)
