FASB Chairman Edmund L. Jenkins Will Testify Before Congressional Committee
Norwalk, CT, February 13, 2002—On Thursday, February 14, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Chairman Edmund L. Jenkins will testify before the Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, chaired by Representative Cliff Stearns (R-FL). The meeting is entitled "Are Current Financial Accounting Standards Protecting Investors?"
The Committee is scheduled to meet in the Rayburn House Office Building, Room 2212, at 9:00 a.m.
A copy of the testimony to be filed with the Subcommittee will be posted on the FASB website (www.fasb.org) on February 14.
